Performance
Voiceover is at the heart of my work, but I bring much more to a production than a voice alone. I’m an actor, musician and experienced live performer, with a broad skill set spanning screen, stage, character performance, music and physical work. For producers, that means one versatile performer who can bring confidence, instinct and professionalism across a wide range of creative briefs, in the booth, on camera and beyond.
Acting
With training from Stage 84 and experience across both stage and screen, acting has been a longstanding part of my performance background. Voiceover may now sit at the centre of my work, but I’m always keen to step back in front of the camera or into a live role when the right project calls for it.

Music
Music has been a major part of my professional life for many years. I perform with Swing Noir and Bamboozle, as well as working freelance on double bass and vocals across a range of live and studio projects. That background brings a strong sense of timing, phrasing and musicality to my wider performance work, while keeping me equally at home on stage, in the studio or as part of a live production.

Presenting & Content Creation
Presenting is another strand of my performance work, developed particularly through my YouTube channel, Double Bass with Bass Pixie. Creating regular video content has given me extensive experience speaking directly to camera, explaining ideas clearly, interviewing and engaging an audience in a relaxed, natural way. I’m comfortable working from a script or more conversationally, and bring the same warmth, confidence and adaptability to branded, factual and entertainment-led presenting.

Specialist Performance Skills
Alongside my core performance work, I bring a broad range of specialist skills that can be useful across screen, games, immersive and character-led productions.
My background includes:
Martial arts and MMA
Physical performance and action work
Firearms and shooting experience
Ongoing creature and monster voice training
I’m also comfortable with character movement, action-based performance and work that calls for a more physical or unconventional approach. Add to that a strong musical ear, extensive live-performance experience, a range of accents and conversational Japanese, and I’m particularly well suited to projects that need versatility, adaptability and a performer who can bring more than one skill to the room.
